No real update so here is the cookie sample I arranged!

These are more substantial than the last ones I posted so hopefully they reflect the progress I've been making. Now if only I could find the time to finish these suckers :/

Reconciled with the Reds. This does not mean that I have resolved the problems at all, but that I'm willing to work around them for the time being now that my patience is back. Will work on them this weekend if I am not too tired. BBB is also in progress, although I've reached the point where I'm not sure where it'll turn. Cookies later. Maybe. Or a full on update since NoL is taking too damn long to end. That is all!

Just out of curiosity, is all.

Reds are on the back-burner now because we are having a disagreement. I can't get them to get from point A to point B. This could end up in a nasty break up.

To cheer myself up though, I decided to pick up the kid flash/jinx story I've been meaning to finish. And because it's them, I'm having loads more fun with the writing process than I was with the reds. It's kinda therapeutic. In fact, I daresay I'm pretty proud of how it's coming out!

JOY!!

The Reds are so completely NOT-BELIEVABLE, it's HILARIOUS! Writing Brick normally is hard enough, but one that's suppose to have some sort of believable psychological damage without appearing too-emo(tional) is really bringing my creative side down. I write something down to progress some sort of plot for the reds and then I stop to realize that Brick would NEVER respond that way.

For instance, I had a part where Brick is slipping Blossom some encouraging notes to keep her alive. Later I realized how completely impossible that scenario is (what are the mechanisms behind that sort of penpal relationship??) Also, Brick would never do that. NEVER. So that part is gone.

More ranting later perhaps.

Boomer is finally up. Not because I'm so satisfied with it or anything, I was just tired of looking at it and trying to make it some twisted form of decent. I probably failed because that piece just mutated into something that I ended up having no control over. Boo.

Around final exams? You really are an evil little thing, aren't you?

So I've come to realize that I'm a terrible writer. Inspiration escapes me still but hopefully I will catch that sucker soon and get to finish something. In the meantime, here are bits and pieces of things that I have in the works.

And OH MY GAWD. GIRL AKATSUKI REVEALED! (now all we have to do is name her!)

I think that there should be a showdown between her and Sakura. It's been a while since we've seen Sakura kill an akatsuki/in action anyway and, er, yeah. She needs to be kick-ass again. As for a Karin and Sakura fight...

Ino can kick Karin's ass for her. That's what girlfriends are for - lending a friend a hand in dishing out the pain.

Actually it was here last Wednesday but I caught a major bug that Monday and was recovering all of last week. So I'm better now and can sort of update on this thing now that I have the time. Let's see, I got into pretty much all of my colleges, which is good except the decision-making part and telling college representatives over the phone that I'm not going to their universities. Talk about awkward times.

I got a load of comparative government break work that I need to get started on but that's not going to happen any time soon. School's almost over, I'm going to miss everyone =(

Planning to go to Massachusetts on Friday, let's see if it meets the high New York standards I have.

New York is unbelievably hot. The humidity is out of control. My face has melted away somewhere and I can't find it.

In other news, I've finally gotten around to reading again. Now I have a semi drabble that's knocking on my brain so I'm going to have to get it out sooner or later. Preferably sooner. And because it doesn't fit with any other pair, it will be Harry x Hermione, only sad because I am a sad person.

Yes, I read Half-Blood Prince. Yes my heart was in my throat for most of the reading; not in a good way. Yes, there's really nothing more for me to say since many others have voiced their opinions in ways that are more articulate that I'll ever be able to do so I'll just say that I agree with the unhappy people.

I miss the funny little side adventures too.

With the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I hear that a lot of people have been severely disappointed with the outcome. As one of the few that has yet to read it, I've heard that certain outcomes are...less than favorable.
